My client is a highly regarded commercial practice with an enviable reputation for the quality of its staff, its client base, and the legal advice it provides. The firm is well-established and prominent within the business community, acting on high value deals and matters on a regular basis, and it is now seeking to strengthen its employment team through the hire of a solicitor of between 0-2yr PQE or equivalent.
The firm is seeking applications from solicitors (or soon to qualify) who have gained exposure to quality respondent work during their training, having dealt with a broad range of contentious and non-contentious issues. It is likely that you will have gained exposure to matters such as discrimination claims, wrongful dismissal, drafting staff handbooks and employment contracts, negotiation of settlement agreements and redundancy consultations, in addition to TUPE and corporate support matters.
You will likely have trained at a leading national, regional heavyweight, City or high quality boutique practice where high quality respondent work is the norm, and will be looking to develop your career within a supportive team environment where you will have the ability to call upon resource and mentoring where required. Remuneration is toward the top end of the local market and should attract the best talent in the region.
