Well-established commercial firm seeks experienced employment lawyer to advise an impressive client base.
 
The firm is a highly thought-of practice based in the West Midlands area which is seeking to recruit into its employment law team. You should have a broad range of employment experience covering both contentious and non-contentious matters and be able to work with both commercial clients on respondent matters as well as individuals seeking claimant advice, with knowledge of areas including:
 
– discrimination claims
– wrongful dismissal
– drafting and negotiating staff handbooks and employment contracts
– redundancy/restructuring
– settlement agreements
– corporate support and TUPE
 
You will be a qualified lawyer of circa 2+yrs PQE or equivalent who is looking for exposure to quality work on a regular basis, seeking to join a team with genuine opportunities for career advancement.
 
Due to the firm’s location applicants will likely need to be car drivers, and those based to the east or north of Birmingham, south Staffordshire or west Derbyshire areas are ideally located, with the firm’s position close to a number of main road links.
