My client is seeking to hire an experienced employment lawyer to bolster its team in Birmingham city centre, working alongside senior lawyers and as part of a national team on an interesting caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, ranging from defending discrimination and wrongful dismissal claims through to restructuring and TUPE.
 
The firm is recognised by various legal publications as being a leading player in the market, with offices across the country acting for a high quality client base of plcs, blue-chips and household names. The team in Birmingham is particularly busy and you will have the opportunity to advise on both contentious and non-contentious matters including:
 
– Employment contracts and staff handbooks
– Executive settlement agreements and termination packages
– Wrongful dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination claims
– Redundancy and restructuring
– TUPE and corporate support
 
The firm is seeking applications from experienced employment lawyers of circa 2-5yrs PQE who have experience of working on primarily respondent-focused matters and who are now looking for a new challenge within a firm where they can grow and develop as the team continues to expand.
