A well-established Legal 500 firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join its highly-regarded team in the East Midlands, focusing primarily on respondent work for commercial clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer to join a firm known for the quality of its work, supportive culture, and commitment to professional development. You’ll work closely with an established client base, advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including:
·Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures
·Managing Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to hearing
·Negotiating settlement agreements
·Handling matters involving discrimination claims, wrongful dismissal and whistleblowing
·Advising on redundancies, restructuring and TUPE
You will also have the opportunity to develop your business development and client-facing skills, building relationships with the firm’s client base whilst also being involved in delivering training, seminars and attending other networking opportunities.
Due to the structure of the team it is likely that you will have accrued circa 2-5yrs PQE or equivalent, and will be looking to join a leading firm with a high quality client base and which offers both a supportive working environment and great career prospects for those seeking personal development. There is also a highly competitive remuneration package on offer including bonus, as well as scope for hybrid working.
