My client is a well-established Top 50 law firm with an excellent reputation and which is recognised as a leading practice by Legal 500 and Chambers across numerous disciplines. Despite impressive growth over a number of years the firm remains in expansion mode, and is looking to recruit a ‘rain-making’ corporate partner to bolster its team in Birmingham.
You will likely have worked at a leading national or international firm (although applicants from high calibre regional practices will also be considered) and will be looking to join a team of transactional experts across the country. The existing corporate presence is wide-ranging and includes M&A, private equity and ECM, backed up by strong banking, real estate, tax and employment practices, so candidates with either a generic corporate practice or a more niche specialism are equally of interest.
The firm will consider applicants from a broad range of backgrounds, although has been particularly successful at integrating hires who come from Top 20 firms who may be looking for a step up in seniority or a better work/life balance without compromising on the quality of work and clients which they can attract.
