Corporate Solicitor 49 views

Are you an ambitious corporate lawyer, tired of working away in the background when the big deals come around?

Expecting to interact with clients in person now you’re qualified, yet still finding yourself relegated to the photocopier or making the tea?

This could be the role for you!

– High quality work
– Great client exposure
– Excellent supervision & mentoring
– Superb scope for personal development

The firm is a high quality boutique based on the west side of Birmingham in tranquil Shropshire, which offers work of a very high quality and exposure to an enviable client base. Due to the quality of the firm it continues to attract really interesting and challenging work, and this is a rare opportunity for a solicitor of NQ-2yr PQE to take on a role where they will be exposed to clients from a very early stage, under the mentoring of senior lawyers who have worked at some of the largest law firms in the world.

You will be either a qualified or soon-to-qualify solicitor who has had exposure to high quality corporate work throughout your training, and who is now looking to expand upon that experience within a firm which has an excellent reputation for ‘punching above its weight’. You will likely have a strong academic track record and also be either located in the Shropshire area, or will have ties there and be open to relocation. Access to your own car is also likely to be useful although may not be a prerequisite depending on location.

This is a great role for an ambitious M&A lawyer looking to take their first steps onto the ladder as an NQ, or for a more experienced lawyer keen to get ‘closer to the action’ and gain a real understanding of how deals are done. Remuneration is competitive and should attract high calibre lawyers keen to combine high quality work with an excellent work/life balance, as well as those looking to eliminate the commute into the city!
