Are you a highly motivated and experienced immigration lawyer, keen to take on an exciting new role with a market-leading firm?
 
My client is a thriving Top 60 national practice which is regularly recognised as a leader in its field, consistently recording impressive financials and demonstrating organic and lateral growth over a number of successful years.
 
The firm is targeting the strategic hire of an experienced corporate immigration lawyer at partner or designate level to join the team in a key position, being the senior person responsible for working with the firm’s clients across the southern half of the country including London and the Midlands.
 
You will have the opportunity to cross-sell into a well-established client base of PLCs, SMEs and bluechips which the firm acts for across areas such as corporate, commercial, real estate, IP and employment, and will be able to supplement this with your own contacts and connections. You will be taking on a key role in the growth of the corporate immigration offering, and will be comfortable dealing with a caseload comprising, inter alia:
 
·Skilled worker visas, innovator visas, extensions of stay and settlement, family visas and leave to remain, as well as visa advice to international clients seeking to come to the UK
·Certificate of sponsorship applications
·Training clients on sponsor licence responsibilities, right to work checks, best recruitment policies and compliance issues/audits
·Providing corporate support on transactions including due diligence from an immigration perspective and advising on sponsorship/right to work implications
·Immigration enforcement
·British citizenship applications
 
Due to the level of seniority attached to this role you will likely have accrued circa 10+ years PQE or equivalent within the corporate immigration field and will have a demonstrable track record of advising business clients on matters of the nature indicated above. It is expected that you have a portable following of clients and/or a proven track record of generating clients from your own business development initiatives, and will be looking for an opportunity to build your practice further within a leading firm which continues to impress and grow.
 
Remuneration is highly competitive and will be dependent upon both a proven track record within this field and also the potential value of any likely following. There is scope for some hybrid working as part of this role.
