My client is a leading heavyweight with an international presence, an excellent reputation and top-quality client base, and which regularly advises blue-chips and household names across a variety of legal disciplines.
A requirement has arisen for a corporate immigration lawyer to bolster its team, and the firm is seeking a high quality professional with experience in immigration and global mobility issues including:
– Sponsor Licence Applications
– Right To Work
– Work-related visa sponsorship
– Points-based visas
– Leave To Remain/Indefinite Leave To Remain
– Relocation of Dependants
– Naturalisation applications
You will be working closely with the Head of Business Immigration and will be both handling your own caseload and will be involved in building up the work of the team, as it develops into a key part of the firm. Applications are invited from experienced corporate immigration lawyers likely to have accrued between 2-6yrs PQE or equivalent at a prominent corporate law firm and who is used to advising business clients on matters such as those detailed above; those with experience in other areas of immigration law such as asylum are unlikely to be best suited.
Remuneration is towards the top end of the market and scope for future career development is excellent. The role can be based in either the Birmingham or Leeds areas.
