My client is a thriving national law firm which is seeking to recruit a high calibre IT Disputes/Litigation Partner to join its growing office in Birmingham city centre.
Due to continually high levels of instructions from the firm’s clients within the IT sector – particularly those which are contentious in nature – the firm is seeking to bolster its national IT litigation practice with a key lateral hire.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a partner or ambitious Legal Director to take a leading role in shaping and growing a firstclass contentious IT practice, whilst working alongside other experts within the IT, commercial and IP fields.
You will likely have a diverse range of IT and technology-related disputes experience, including outsourcing disputes, project overruns, licensing disputes, software implementation failures, data-related claims and cyber breach issues, and will have advised an array of private sector (and potentially public sector) clients on such matters.
You will be involved in business development and managing client relationships, both for new clients and any portable contacts you might introduce, and will be keen to take on the challenge of building a market-leading IT litigation practice within the Birmingham and West Midlands area.
