An opportunity has arisen for an employment law specialist of circa 5+yrs PQE or equivalent to join its team, handling matters for a reputable commercial client base which has instructed the firm for many years, as well as advising senior level executives on matters relating to their employment situation.
You will have likely developed your experience in a leading City, national or boutique firm and will be comfortable dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. These are likely to include, inter alia, drafting and negotiation of employment contracts, TUPE, redundancy consultations, restructures and grievance procedures, including managing contentious matters through to the Employment Tribunal or High Court.
For executive clients you will be expected to provide accurate legal advice relating to matters such as redundancy consultations and exit procedures, as well as the enforceability of restrictive covenants, so you will be expected to have a strong all-round knowledge of the employment law field and will be keen to utilise this experience within one of the best-known names in the city.
