My client is a well-established regional practice with an impressive reputation across a broad range of legal disciplines, acting for both commercial and long-established private clients alike over a significant period of time.
 
The firm is presently undergoing succession planning within its corporate team as it seeks a long-term replacement for the current head of department, and is seeking to recruit an experienced transactional expert to take over the running of the team in the near future following a staged handover.
 
The team advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, drafting and negotiating of commercial agreements, IT/IP matters and MBOs/MBIs, so you will have the opportunity to advise on a diverse range of matters in addition to bolstering with any niche skills of your own.
 
The firm is open to considering applications from candidates at a variety of PQE levels ranging from current partners through to ambitious senior associates of circa 5+yrs PQE; the only requirements are strong technical skills and an ability to provide an excellent level of client care throughout transactions.
 
There is already an established client base to take over so there is no requirement for a guaranteed client following, although you will be expected to become involved in building up the client base further as well as cross-selling to the firm’s other teams, including commercial property and employment.
