My client is a Top 100 national firm with an exceptional reputation across a range of legal services, and which advises a high quality client base of both commercial and private clients including HNW individuals.
The firm is seeking to strengthen its contentious probate practice, which provides advice to both claimants and defendants when the validity of wills are challenged for reasons such as testamentary capacity or knowledge and approval. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced contentious probate lawyer to join its highly-rated team at senior associate level to advise on issues such as estoppel claims, removal of trustees and executors, acting for claimants under the Inheritance Act and advising on professional negligence and rectification claims against others solicitors and will writers.
You will likely have accrued circa 6-10yrs PQE within the contentious probate field, and ideally will hold an ACTAPS qualification (or will be working towards this). The firm is well situated in a location easily commutable from Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey, and its hybrid working policy also means that you can work from home or another of the firm’s offices 50% of the time if preferred.
