Are you an experienced housing lawyer, looking to join one of the leading names within this field?
My client is a Legal 500 and Chambers-recognised firm which enjoys an exceptional reputation within the housing arena, consistently ranked as one of the leading practices within this discipline.
The firm is looking to recruit an experienced housing law specialist to join its housing management team, advising on a broad range of non-contentious and advisory matters to ensure that its client base of public sector, charitable and private sector housing providers receive the very best legal advice.
You are likely to be an experienced lawyer within this field who has a real passion for housing management matters, and will be looking to utilise your knowledge of areas such as rent and service charges, drafting and negotiation of SLAs, occupancy agreements, universal credit and housing benefits, in addition to a strong all round knowledge of housing management legislation for both landlords & tenants.
You will be conducting your own matters under the supervision of the head of department whilst also overseeing the workload of less experienced fee-earners within the team, so will be a crucial part of the ongoing success of the department. You should also be keen to get involved in networking and marketing opportunities to build your own personal standing in this market, as well as that of the firm as the go-to provider for this sort of work.
Remuneration is competitive and should attract high calibre individuals looking for both top quality work and to join a firm where they are genuinely making a difference,
