My client is a thriving regional firm in South London which has an excellent reputation for the quality of its offering to both commercial and private clients, and an exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious matrimonial lawyer looking for a role with a clear route to partnership.
You will be an experienced lawyer of circa 5yrs PQE or equivalent who is used to advising privately paying clients on a variety of family law issues, including divorce, ancillary relief, cohabitation disputes and private Children matters, and who has a proven track record for providing high quality legal advice to clients at the High Net Worth end of the market, as well as those with more modest assets.
The firm is looking for a self-motivated and business development-minded lawyer who is keen to help build the firm’s family practice further, utilising its already strong brand to generate additional instructions into the matrimonial team. You will be adept at and enjoy developing business relationships with potential referrers, as well as being a capable cross-seller from (and into) other practice areas within the firm, and will also be involved in networking and professional marketing initiatives to further the firm’s standing within the locality.
Remuneration is highly competitive including a salary of up to £65k, whilst there is scope for this position to move to partnership in the short term (or immediately for those with a strong business case and/or portable following).
