Corporate Transactional Management Senior Associate 452 views

– Are you an ambitious corporate lawyer who enjoys working as part of a cross-practice offering to get deals done?
– Keen to take on a key lynchpin role on high value transactions to ensure their seamless progress?

My client is a thriving international firm in London which has an excellent reputation within the corporate mid-market, advising a blue-chip client base on a range of transactions including M&A, private equity and cross-border deals. As part of a strategic expansion the firm has recently established a transactional management offering to handle the due diligence behind these deals, and an opportunity has arisen for an experienced corporate law specialist to join this team in a key ‘number two’ role to the head of the department.

You will be carrying out some of the due diligence on corporate transactions yourself as well as supervising other fee-earners within the team, and will additionally be responsible for co-ordinating the input of other practice areas such as real estate, tax, employment and pensions to ensure that the deals progress without a hitch, both for acquisitions or mergers and pre-emptively for clients looking to dispose of part or all of their business. As such you will be a key part of the firm’s Legal 500-ranked M&A offering and will have exposure to deals the whole way through the transaction and from more perspectives than is found in a typical corporate role.

You will be an experienced corporate commercial lawyer of circa 5+yrs PQE or equivalent who already knows their way around a deal and who has gained this experience at a leading national or international firm of similar standing, and who is now looking to utilise that experience in a position which is unlike most others out there. The quality of work is excellent, and you will have great scope to work cross-practice areas as well as undertaking some managerial responsibilities to ensure that deadlines are met.

Remuneration is highly competitive and should attract the best talent in the market.
