My client is a prominent commercial heavyweight firm with an excellent reputation within the East Anglia area and beyond. The firm has remained extremely busy during the lockdown period and as the market continues to improve an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial property lawyer of circa 3-8yr PQE or equivalent to join its market-leading real estate team in Norfolk.
 
Working as part of the firm’s overall property offering you will be advising a high calibre client base on a range of development matters, primarily relating to matters such as site acquisitions, option agreements, development agreements, overage agreements and also advising on site assembles, including those with conditional and unconditional contracts. As well as the residential development arm the firm has a strong reputation across areas such as planning, agriculture and property disputes matters, thus you will be working as part of a multi-discipline real estate offering which can provide high quality advice quickly to its established network of developer and housebuilder clients.
 
You will likely have accrued at least 3yrs PQE within the development team at a firm of similar standing, where high quality work and clients are the norm, and will now be looking to bring that skill-set to a heavyweight firm in the East Anglia market. The firm has a proud record of promoting from within, so candidates looking to make a move where partnership is a realistic ambition should be keen to explore this further, whilst other career advancement paths are open to those who wish to follow a different route but are nonetheless ambitious, and keen to see their efforts recognised.
